We have members in or AS unit that also use the Camco Olympian catalytic propane heater with a long hose so they can move it around in their 34. They have a CO meter and it has never given a danger alarm.
I use the catalytic heater at the entrance on my 25 to take the chill off. I also turn on the fantastic vent fan at low speed blowing in at the front and let the exhaust out in the bedroom vent. That keeps the trailer cosy and gives way more than the specified window-opening ventilation for running the catalytic.
I use an electric heater at night and close off the bedroom to keep heat localized.
Ditto on the comments that CO is the most probable cause for headaches, and the condensation on the windows is due to products of combustion, more so than respiration from a couple of people.

Thanks for all the advice and feedback.
Since we are still in the rough-in stage of the cabinets I'm going to install a couple of Broan heaters....one in the dressing room and 1 in the living room.
If we boondock, I'll get a generator.
Have a happy new year all.
Since it's now getting colder I suppose the wife and I are going to have to start wearing shoes.....man what a drag .
Any Home...Trailer ...Boat etc that has combustion in it should have a Co detector.
I had a friend several years ago that had just completely rend his cruiser boat. He and his son went to bed in the boat one night ,and were found dead the next morning of a small Co leak.
Don't risk it!!! Co is odourless and tasteless and will kill you without warning.
