Propane furnace controls

I'm trying to find the end of the wires to attach a new thermastat for my 75 soveriegn. The wires come out of the furnace ans disappear into the wall behind. I have 2 blue, 1 red, 1 white wire. Does anyone know where these wires go in their trailer? I'm using a space heater now since I don't pay for the electric I'm using. However, in about 6 mos I'll need to switch to propane.

The red wire is the +12 volts, the white wire is the - or ground 12 volts. The two blue wires are the ones to the thermostat.

I don't know where the thermostat was on your '75, 31'. Apparently it is missing? Look for holes somewhere about chest level which may have been the location. Inside wall, like on a closet. You may see wires in the closet that went to it and if missing, they may be just cut off or have tape or something on the ends. They may not be blue on the thermostat end though, not sure what AS used for color, it might vary.

Best guess for now.

In my 76 Sovereign the thermostat was mounted on an interior bulkhead about midway from front to back and on the roadside of the trailer which placed it across the aisle and 6-8 feet from the furnace itself. As idroba suggests, you will probably find it cut off and stuffed in a hole where the original was mounted.

On my '75 Sovereign the thermostat is mounted on the wall above the head of the Port side rear bed about one foot from the wall.

On my early 70's Excella with the rear bath and twin beds, the thermostat for the furnace was on the curb side wall above the bed behind the window curtain. There was a separate thermostat on the bulkhead beside the refrigerator for the air conditioner. Took me a while to realize there were two thermostats and find the hidden one that controlled the furnace.

On my late 70's Excella center bath with rear bedroom the thermostat for the furnace was on the end of the road side galley cabinet nearest the living room.
