Looking at the possibility of replacing my old Suburban NT22 furnace with the newer NT30 in my 72 Safari.
There used to be some significant deals out there on the updated NT30's if one shopped around. I recall Palomino RV (or similar), but can't find the site.
Wondering if anyone here would be willing to point me in the right direction. Current best prices. I'd love to have safe/reliable heat incorporated into my trailer (as designed) and do away with the electric heat dish.
If you find a deal on a smaller unit, you will be just fine. The NT 22 is a 22,000 buth unit and the NT 30 is a 30,000 btuh unit, which in my opinion is too large for your 23' trailer. I have an NT 16 (16,000 btuh) in my 20' Argosy and it gives me all the heat I need, in temps down to the teens or lower.
I just purchased a new Suburban furnace from Vintage Trailer Supply for my 25 footer - its the 13k BTU model. Prices are competitive at VTS and shipping was free.
I am looking around and Palomino seems to be up to 50% cheaper than other places, I just wanted to ask they are selling the same product correct? I am getting a NT 30 SP furnace and they are saying around $450 with shipping while other places are $990 without it.
