When I installed a Penguin ac in our 73 Over lander I had to use two seals stacked to get enough clearance. Also, if you don't have a working drain you will get water streaks on the exterior skin from condensation drainage. You probably already know this but I have had way too many "wish I had known" moments. When the ac drain clogged on a trip to the Gulf coast we had water dripping inside and out...mama was not happy.

Very clean job, congrats!
So how does the unit performs between 12:00 and 15:00?
Curious about the the 30 to 50amps conversion, please start a threat and post some pics. We are seriously considering to do the same.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks.

A few pics of today's effort to complete install.

Now, because I can't run through wall I exited the ceiling

Then I stuck to ceiling using sticky back wire tie mounts. I added a sheetmetal screw in center. Then used double wire ties to go around sleeve.

Devil's advocate comment here:

I hope that much weight that far aft of the axles doesn't cause you separation problems. I always thought that any additional weight aft of the axles is a very bad thing.

Get thee behind me satan!

Any extra weight is concern aft or bow loaded. It is about same location AS puts second AC. It is forward of stock from what I have seen. As in this one:

Center mass is about 3' behind rear axle on mine I guess.

But, had to install more AC. Skylight in hallway too big to install there. I had no other options I could find.

Howdy!

We ran the Penguin on the 30 AMP FEED for a couple days. No issues.

After upgrade to 50 AMP feed, 36 hour, no problems.

Condensate line flowing well,

All buttoned up...

The condensate exits inside the water box and out the nice opening AS provided, which is where the water supply enters. Nearly looks stock...
