OEM Air Conditioner on 1973 Ambassador

Does anyone know the brand name of the original air conditioners that came on a 1973 Ambassador? Trying to find out if the one in it is an addition or the original.

Should be an Armstrong, if memory serves.

My 73 had a Armstrong, the fan faces upwards unlike most other brands.

Ok the one in it is a duo therm. I was thinking it was not original. Thanks. Apparently it has a heater too?

Most of them are available with an optional "heat strip," an electric heating element like a toaster.

No heat strip in mine but it did have thermostat on wall, no controls on the unit itself.

Do you have any pictures of your trailer inside here on the forum? Would love to see what it looks like since it is the same year as ours.

I'll bet it's Armstrong.....a dinosaur, for sure.

There should be a label someplace. Take the inner cover off for inspection.
