It may be that the shower hot water has a LIMITER on it to keep anyone from getting burned as the hot water is just that very hot.

You should be able to take the valve apart and adjust it to a higher temperature. Most domestic shower valves adjust up or down 3 degrees per notch.

If you had hot water before it may just be that dirt is in the valve and reducing the hot water flow. Again open the valve and check.

hi lisa'

typically this is related to the fixture in the shower...

the mixer valve for hot/cold may be clogged or need tweaking.

IF it's a moen they have details on doing this on their website.

here are 3 of the threads on this issue with links to help, there are others.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f365...-be-29685.html

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f445...hot-38192.html

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f446...wer-41106.html

other LESS common issues can cause this, but start with the common stuff.

cheers
