My airstream has been in the family for years a lot of good memories in it, and the main reason I want to keep it. Just recently put in a new Peguin II heat pump. I am having trouble getting the unit to come on and the thermostat is blank I think the problems is in the thermostat wiring not sure I have the wire terminated right in the rj-11 connector. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeffrey Keller

Hey Jeffery,

I also have a 1969 Sovereign. I also need to put a new AC unit in. Do you like the penguin ll?
Was it hard to pull the original out? Looks like you had to modify the hole.
Thanks for and help

I like the penguin II. I wish the air distribution box was made a little different so more air would flow to the front of trailer. I didn't have to modify the hole just added a piece of wood on the front side to squeeze the 2 skins together to make a good seal. The original wasn't too bad the worst part is taking all the screws off and then have to rivet those holes and caulk them. Hope this helps

It sure did thanks.
I have some floor rot in mine I'm fixing. Under the sink by the furnace/behind the frig and by the sink in the rear bath. Fun fun.
Also, I'm going to put all new gaskets on the windows/ doors and vents. Trying to water prof it for the upcoming winter.
Enjoy that 69! I'm trying to hunt down a road side wing window if you have one.
