new dometic 15000

Does anyone have one of the new brisk airs. I was looking at the over head cowl and the air flow looks strange. It looks like the flow would be restricted out of the intake end because the output has to flow around it. If anyone has one I would appreciate some info on how it works.

We just installed the low profile Penguin one last month. The vents front and back work well. The middle center can open and close and blow air straight down. There are also side vents in the rear of the AC unit that can be open/closed that blows to the side.
Dometic may also offer two types of venting systems depending on the unit. We choose the older and most used vent system as we have mid coach beds and wanted to move away from the air blowing directly down on us. This unit does a great job and keeping it away from the sleeping area as a direct flow of air blowing straight down.

Hope it helps.

I have installed a ton of Brisk Air II units. The general reaction is that they are quieter than the Penguins, use a smaller footprint and are lighter in weight.

The airflow is NOT a reported problem.

thanks .I am waiting for the cups from outdoor mart and then I will toss it on the roof. If anyone is looking for a new unit. CO LAW RV in carthage mo. has about 20 15000 brisk air with inside cowl for 499 new in the box with factory warranty. They bought them from an over order from Winnebago. We were in springfield mo last week for a few days. so along with the mandatory trip to bass pro was the mandatory trip to CO LAW.We wandered the trailors and pulled a few misc parts. the standard price for coleman and dometic 13500 is 499 and 15000 is 599 for either brand. Those are new units,
