New AC for Streamline

Hi everyone,
I need to replace the Coleman ac unit in our '72 Streamline Imperial.
I'm looking at the Coleman Mach 3.
Can anyone tell me if this is a good match? Also, what about the optional heat strip, is that a good idea? The trailer is 27' and has a 30 amp load (80 amps of breaker)
I do appreciate all thoughts on this.
Thank you, TikiPatrick

Check out the new Coleman Mach 8. It is supposed to be smaller profile, lighter and quieter than previous models.

The new low profile unit will be my choice.

IMO, it's easy to degrade the appearance of a trailer of our type with ill-chosen (too tall or ungainly) roof appurtenances.

Check out the general repair forum. Today someone opined on the Coleman Mach 8 and it wasn't a very good review.

Thanks for the input. I actually got a Coleman Mach 3. It has the same profile as the original. It was easy to put in and works like a dream. And I got it on line from RVAdventure.net for half the price I was quoted from a local RV store.
