Need To Add 2nd AC To My 34ft Excella, HELP!

Why AS didn't feel it necessary to install 2 AC units in all their 34ft Excella 1000 models is beyond me. My excella has a vent in the rear bedroom. I was wanting to install the 2nd AC in its place. I was wondering if anyone has done this and is there already bracing there? How did you do it? Did you add a second cord or how was it wired? Just really need help! Pictures and video's will be really helpful.

They didn't install two air units because people weren't whimps like we are today! I the old days 80 or 82 interior degrees using a fan was good, people went camping and didn't bring all the goodies of home with them. I've got one 13.5 unit and can keep it at 80 degrees inside using a fan to circulate the air in my thirty footer. Thats at 95 degrees outside. That's comfortable for me, might not be for you. Don't spend the money until you try it the way it is. Good camping

If you choose to go with a second one, I would wire it independent of the trailer system so it could be plugged in or not as needed. No need for fifty amp if done this way.

Don't have pictures but I found a fairly easy way to brace between inner and outer skins. I used 1@1\2 in aluminum angle put together in a u channel . Over drill the inner piece of the belly of the u and mark the outside piece. Than drill a pilot hole in the outside piece for a screw of whatever size you choose I used #10 x 1\2 stainless. The gap between skins was 1 7\8 inches in my 90. 32'. You need a 14" hole for most units. I cut my sections of channel so that the u was to the inside of the opening.this gave me a channel to run wiring in. Used aluminum HVAC tape to seal corners. I put Several rivets into channel from the inside ceiling to hold in place. I do this to install a fantastic fan in mine but would work to an ad unit. You might be able to find a piece of channel the right size and cut down on some of the work. I had 2" but it stretched the corners of the opening and I did not want to start a tear in the top. Did the same in the front fan but the space was a little over 2" so came u with the angle idea for adjustability. Get a good!!!!! 20 amp extension cord to power it. Good luck.
