need some help AC wires...

Can anyone tell me where this black and this white wire hook into the ac, it's a Armstrong 14.... both were not hooked up and my diagram on the underside of the inside unit doesn't show them... We've replace the start capacitor, the relay and capacitor by the fan motor were good... but the compressor still won't kick on
Thanks
Ellen

from the looks....they were under a wire nut at one time....if for a
capacitor - they would have spade connectors.

large black and white looks like main power.....can you lift the cover and see where
they connect inside?

If you enlarge the picture, you see they just plug in to whatever they went to... going to take that cover off today and see if we can see where they're coming from. I know I have a main black and white on the lower unit, but not sure where it goes yet... LOL... we're tracking the wires down one at a time, hate to buy a new AC if I don't need to and talking with the camper places the price of labor and/or parts would be close to the price of a new one, but we all know that...LOL

When in doubt, check to see if they are hot 120 black would be positive, white negative, if 12v opposite, white wire does have spades and it looks like it could reach under the capacitor on the right. some capacitors have more than two wires.
