Need help with Westi Air Conditioner

I have a 2005 Westi that needs a freon recharge.
Local dealer in S Maine has inspected but canT locate recharge port?

This is the original German air conditioner.

Any thoughts

I don't Know about your specific air conditioner but, most newer (then at least 1980) RV air conditioners don't come with recharge ports.

Same question I asked on the other thread where you posted this question, Are you talking about a roof AC or the dash AC?

Hello Lew,
Any idea of the noise level? The low profile units generally have a smaller plenum and generate more velocity creating a higher sound level. I consulted with the engineering staff at RVP about five years ago and they did not have solution for sound levels at that time. Thanks for the update

The roof top AC units are designed to be through aways. If you get a new one, which you may have to, you should get a high efficiency unit. With 4-5 amp less power draw it will help when running it on your generator.
