Mach 8 Coleman Polar Cub? BTUs for a Safari??

I am a newbie on here!!! First post. I looked for a thread on the Coleman Polar Cub but couldnt find one. I have read several threads on the dometic versus the new Mach 8, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience with the Coleman Mach 8 Polar cub which only has 9,200 btu's. Is that enough for a 23' 1969 Safari?

Thanks for all the help. These forums are great and a huge help... but there is so much information to weed through that I get overwhelmed slightly.

Your in Texas. It is not enough. I go for 15000 in my Caravells and Bubbles. Never regretted the choice.

I just had Mach 8 15,000 btu low profile installed in my 22' Flying Cloud. love it. I live in Texas and it's hot and humid . It has an internal drain pump. So far so good. I spay painted the shroud silver and it looks great .
