Ac

Just like home AC units the ducting or area that has been calculated to be cooled is pretty much fixed. Any deviations could cause some kind of imbalance or overload especially in a tight closed operating system such as is a Airstream unit. In a home some allow a half ton difference but in an airstream it's better to stay with the same.

Except in the case of the AI, the installed rear A/C is limited not by what is needed to adequately cool the van but by the size of the generator.

RowieBowie, Nice review. I'm happy for you that install was pretty straight forward.
