The mounting bolts are rusted beyond use. Any suggestions on how to secure my new shroud. The original shroud was very brittle and was removed by hand. I am thinking of grinding the 4 bolts off and drilling and tapping the remainder. Or using stainless self tapping cap screws. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The front of our shroud is secured by several stainless self-tapping screws, with stainless flat washers to spread the strain of the screws.

Why not remove that galvanized lid and replace the rusted bolts from underneath?

that looks like an Armstrong..? I didn't realize they were still used in the mid-eighties. How's it working? So you have the manual?
Where did you buy the replacement shroud?
Price & Freight please..and did it have the grills in it?

thanks

Hello distantdrumer,

The unit is a Coleman TSR. It is from Camping World. Tuff/MaxxTM Replacement Air Conditioner Shroud-Polar White - Camping World

The unit works. I don't have manual.
