Thumbs up Installing a new Carrier low Profile

I decided to replace the almost new Duo Therm on my Toy Hauler as a test before I messed with my Bambii II. Since I was replacing a unit the hole and power was in place.

My opinion in regard to the difference between the two was night and day. I only took about an hour by myself to install the carrier.
The Carrier was:
1/3 the noise
3 times smoother
Can't be seen from the ground unless you get way back
Has it's own drain pan or remote drain.
I can now get my trailer in the shop without letting air out of the tires

Negative,
When Carrier assembles the unit they can put a nutplate bar for the back 2 bolts in one of 2 places. On my unit it was in the wrong place. In other words, no threads in the hole.
Positive,
I called Ted at Family RV. He answered the phone. He talked me through the minor task of moving the bar. I could have done it in the dark. Keep in mind that this was a factory error.
High marks for Carrier on the best design I have seen and Ted.

Cool and Quite
Steve

Congrats on the fine job

Sounds great, do you have some pics? How much did it cost? I have been thinking about how much my old clunker air conditioner cost me in milage and wondering if a lower profile one wouldnt save some change in the long haul (pun intended)

Thanks Rodney,
I will put some up tommorow. Keep in mind that this is on a new Keystone Toy Hauler. But It convinces me to go this route on my Baby Bambi II
