Try PPL or Mark's RV.

Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I saw this Duo-Therm Gas Burner & Control on ebay today. It closes on Wednesday, the 27th...

Good luck if you decide to bid!

Shari

P.S. This isn't my auction & I don't benefit in any from it.

not quite what I need

John, I'll check them out but the good news is that my local repair shop feels confident that they can get me up and running. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the link Shari but that is not quite what I need.

How about a used one?

Alright, I busted on getting a new replacement part. Does anyone have a used one they will part with? I would hate to replace the whole furnace just because of one part. I doubt that it was ever really used much and could probably be a good unit after cleaning and setting a new burner pilot.

The part I need is the one that the gas line connects to at the furnace and allows gas to flow in. The thermcouple also connects at this point.

The part I need is called a burner pilot 2R57-2L for a Suburban NT32A furnace from a 1974 A/S. The part number is 160535.

Maybe someone has replaced their furnace with a newer model for some other reason and their pilot is still viable. I hope someone can help me out on this.

Thanks much.
