Hi everyone. I would like to start by saying that I do not own an Airstream RV. I have always admired them, but purchased a Laredo fifth wheel. My reason for joining this forum is to possibly communicate with lewster. I recently spent a couple of days with my brother and he owns a 1996 Coachman Catalina. The air conditioning worked all last night, but this morning it would not cycle on. It is a Dometic Duo Therm Brisk Air with a manual thermostat. I did not smell the telltale odor of a motor start or capacitor, the thermostat clicked when it was turned below the air temp, but it did not appear that the fan or compressor started on the upper unit. I'm thinking either the thermostat or a relay between it and the upper unit, but I am seeking input from more qualified people. Thank you in advance.
