I’d go with a unit that has a ‘heat strip’ instead of a heat pump unit. The heat strip comes on instantly and you only get fan noise (works fine on low speed). Ours has this feature, and it’s enough to take the chill off when you are on shore power.
It’s also less stuff in the Freon system to go wrong, IMHO. No switching valve and solenoid could, less wiring, and no issues with freezing up and quitting on you in marginal conditions. And it’s probably a bit cheaper, maybe.
Had an accidental lack of any propane late one night, and when I finally remembered the heat strip existed, and turned it on, it kept us warm enough until I could get a full set of propane tank refills the next morning. 🤪
