Heater fan maintanence ?

Lately my furnace fan has developed a sound when the furnace cycles off.
Before you could not hear the rotation of the fan. Now it sounds like it is very lightly scrapping on something or that there is a bit of sand in the bearings.This sound is only during the last few revolutions before it comes to a stop at the end of its cycle when the heater shuts off. Does this simply need maintenance or is this an indication of something else? My 2012 Classic has a Atwood blower motor.
Any feedback would be welcome !

Clean the fan and check the fan shroud.
If it were the bearings it would probably always be noisy.
More likely it is a little dirty and so possibly slightly off balance which is only noticeable as it winds down. Later the bearings go out.

I'm sorry I have not experienced the same problem, however, I'm sure someone will come along shortly that can assist. I have certainly learned a lot from the people on this forum.

May be that the sail switch is touching the fan blades. Easy check is to rotate the fan by hand. Typically this would be clockwise. One way to test is to turn off the reset switch when you have the outside cover removed, set the thermostat so that the furnace will come on and then you can turn it on and off with the reset switch while you listen/watch the furnace.

Mine was doing the same thing. I tried to adjust the noise out. Could not get it out. I was at JC and they replaced fan blade. The noise has not come back .
