Heater Buddy placement

Hello all,

I've been toying with the idea of using my Heater Buddy for heat till I can get my furnace replaced in my 1974 Argosy28. What I have learned is that it puts out lots of heat on the surface it is sitting on and has cracked my table. For those who use the heater buddy where do you put it while it is running?

Thank you,

Darryl
