Cool Heated floor options

  • I need to do a sub-floor replacement on my camper and think that a heated floor would be really nice for the cooler months
  • It would essentially be a PVC or copper coil underneath the plywood, weaving throughout the frame members
  • It can be a loop tied in with the water heater and a thermostat similar to standard (home) systems
  • Does anyone have experience doing this for an Airstream?
  • If so, does it work?

It, or some derivative thereof has been discussed. I suggest you reach out to malconim as he's done more with this and insulation testing than many. Here are a couple of his threads.
