Heat not working

Were in NY near Ithaca, cold last night. Turned on furnace, worked great got real hot, had Therm. set at 72, then it shut off and never came back on?
Checked fuse and breakers all good. Thankfully it has a heat pump, in the morning with the frosty air in the trailer we had some heat. Any ideas?
Thanks
Gregg and Gina

Did you check to see if you had enough propane?

Was it noisier, blower, than usual?

I had a mud dauber nest in the exhaust tube that kept shutting down the furnace.

If your battery power gets low the fan will not get to full speed and the furnace will not fire.

The opening to the exhaust looks clean as far as I can see?

I have an 83 Excella and it has heat from the air conditioner I think it must be part of a heat pump and I have a thermostat that turns a furnace on and they both work fine . I also have what I think is a radeint heater as you walk in the door beside the oven . This one I cannot seem to light and I'm not sure I want to as it looks scary . Can anyone tell me what type of heater this is ? There is no vent with this heater

Bob, nice troubleshooting link.

Mud daubers can be controlled by aftermarket screens. This Camco item for Atwoods isn't exactly like the one I have but look around. However it won't necessarily keep spiders out.

Ithaca, NY, wouldn't duplicate altitude problems I had in August. My furnace wouldn't light at 7000' in Oregon -- probably needed the air-fuel mix adjusted. Returned to lower elevation and all has been fine.

Under the Atwood cover is this sticker:

Anybody know exactly where that flashing indicator is located? Is it something on the circuit board? Sorry that I didn't look at it when mine wouldn't light.

Wish lewster was looking in here...
