Giving old furnace away... Do you want it?

I have a 30,000 BTU Suburban furnace I pulled from my overlander. If you pick it up from my house you can have it. Otherwise it is going to be discarded. If it was ever used it was not used very much. Looks like new. It is missing the cap that covers the pilot light. I could not get it to light and decided to buy a new one. I put the new furnce in the old case of the old furnace. It does not have a case.

When I pulled the old furnace I noticed that mud dobbers had plugged up the air intake and the exhause port. There also looks like there was a wrens nest in it. The fan works.

Just e-mail me.

Brian

The fan on mine makes a lot of noise after it runs for a while. I could use one for parts. Mine is the infamous NT-22.

Richard, I'll check the fan on the one that's really only good for parts. It's out at the Safari, so it'll be a couple days.

BTW, I did check for that overhead door guide to replace the one we cut when putting in your A/C. It's not similar enough to replace yours.

My suburban furance is the orginal and it was in my 1973 Overlander. I do not think it was a nt 22. The fan worked really well. I am not a heating and air tech and the RV techs would not work on it because of its age. It is in great shape.

I am very happy with my new one. I bought mine and installed. It is really quiet and warms the airstream in minutes.

I have a NT-22 that I'm dumping. The fan worked when I pulled it. Do you want it?

Lee,
Thanks, but I'll see what Zep has. Since I run into him a couple of times a year, there will be no shipping.

Loganville is a trip. I am 45 minutes from Athens Georgia of of hwy 78 . It is yours for the taking. I also have other bits and pieces I am trying to get rid of. I pulled all the orginal vents and put in new ones.

Thanks Lee! (Silverleeper). I just pulled my furnace and swapped blower assemblies using the spare furnace you gave me (had to drill a couple new holes, solder sail switch connections but otherwise piece of cake). The furnace now works great, no noise, puts out the heat. Gave me chance to inspect the heat exchanger too, which was miraculously still fine. I think this airstream sat unused for lots of years, maybe that helped. Thanks again Silverleeper!
