Furnace mystery

Recently purchased a 75 Sovereign. Can't get the furnace or even pilot light lit. The main valve under the trailer is on and the oven/range above the furnace work fine. I have the owners manual and service manual but they don't describe what I'm seeing on the furnace. The furnace cover says it's an NT-32-CA. The manuals say to depress the reset while hitting the ignitor but there isn't any reset button, just the ignitor (see attached photo).
I remember hearing about Suburban furnace recalls and wondering if this was replaced. If so, what do I have and how do I light it?

Probably a dumb question, but did you open the gas valve for the furnace itself?

Think about the age of the unit, 43 years old .

I would replace it at this point in time . Better safe then taking a permanent nap.
