Free stuff, Suburban NT22A furnace and more

Just replaced my NT22A furnace and all the left overs are up for grabs, all I ask is that you need it, not just want one for a spare.

NT22A furnace, never ran this but the PO said all it needed was a sail switch. Will sell parts of it or whole.

Unobtainium vent adapter and rubber cup. I read something about a recall on this.

Intake/exhaust vent cap rough but usable.

Model, serial number tag, if that's of any use to someone

From new Suburban NT24SP furnace:

New intake, exhaust vent cap, it is stamped stainless steel, not like some of the heaver cast ones.

3 Duct collars, part #050715 and one round vent cover, part # 050733 for models NT-24SP, NT-30SP and NT-34SP

Whats listed is all I have
You pay the shipping.

Regards

If you end up giving it away in pieces I need the intake and exhaust cap (the new one would be best) and the duct colars. PO cut the intake pipe up on ours when taking the trailer apart. Would greatly appreciate it if that works out. Very nice of you to offer it up!

I see you're looking for sensors for your water levels. They are basically a stainless bolt and a gasket, I bought mine off ebay for our 69 fresh tank and they are great, just drill a hole, slide them in, tighten and connect the wire on. Here's vendor on there that has them for $3.50 each.

do you still have furnace?

the furnace in my 1973 31ft. Sovereign does not work and I have been told it is not repairable. Would this furnace fit my Airstream and do you have any idea the cost of the sail switch part that you thought was bad?
Thanks

The NT22a was installed in a shorter trailer and may not have the BTUs. More importantly there was a recall on this furnace because of deterioration in the crossover tube. It can pump carbon monoxide into the trailer, not a good thing. You also will have a difficult time getting parts or anyone willing to work on it. If this has not disuaded you there is an outfit in Elkhart Indiana that specializes in new old stock, but I forget it's name.

Lumatic is right this would be undersized for you trailer besides is 34 years old. I was told by the PO the sail switch didn't work but there could be more wrong with it.

I have no idea if this will fit your trailer although the Suburban owners manual shows all the furnaces NT-20A through NT-42T being the same size and sharing most internal parts. You may be able to use my furnace for parts to fix your furnace.

A more appropriate furnace would be the Suburban NT30SP or NT34SP these can be had from Palomino parts: 800-297-5830, my NT24SP was $287.00 so I would think a slightly larger one shouldn't be much more.
Check out this thread on how I changed mine http://www.airforums.com/forums/f427...4sp-47264.html

If you still want it you can have it for the grand total of $00.00 plus shipping.

Parts needed:
Magic Chef, oven door handle

Do you still need this handle?
Do you have a picture of the oven it goes to?
Do you have a measurement on the bolt set-up that holds it on?
Do you need the entire oven?
Do you need the entire oven door?
Is it a stainless steel door?
Or what color is the porcelain?
I have some extra spare parts.
I may have one... Let me know! Ed

Magic Chef handle

Ed thanks for the offer.

Below is a picture of my stove, the handle is 18" wide and the mounting holes are 14-1/2" apart.
Does not need to be original but would like to find a handle that looks good and covers the old mounting holes.

Bruce, As soon as I can dig out from the overnight snow fall I will check to see what all I have in my parts piles. I think that there may be one out there. Not sure as to what it looks like but I will let you know. Ed

I could use a stainless folding burner cover. I have one in OK shape but it has some scratches and pitting. I am looking for one in pristine (or near to) condition. Is that asking too much?

Bruce, Sorry but all the handles I have left are one solid piece from 66 to 68 trailers. The bolt up measures less than 10" center to center. Ed
