Fitted new Penguin 11 ac.
Our old Dometic 13500 unit went out and I decided to replace it myself. Talked with the Airstream boys and replaced it with the one they are using now. It’s a 15000 unit, pulls the same as the old one but starts easier.
Only issues I had was getting the new one on the roof, so had two friends help.
I got the unit from PPL Motorhomes for $985 no one came even close to that price.
It is quieter that the old unit on low speed and does a better job than the last one.
I am sixty years old and had no issues swapping over. Wires were the same, just the condensation lines proved to be difficult routing without bending the pvc pipe.
