Question First time Air Conditioning 62 Globetrotter

I'm in the process of installing a coleman roof air on my 1962 globetrotter, back vent. I understand that I need to reinforce the roof so that it will support the weight of the AC Unit. Detail instructions on how to reinforce the roof would be greatly apprecited. Jim

DO NOT install the AC in a vent.

The AC should be over the axle and slightly rearward.

The roof must be beefed up from main bow to main bow, front to rear, and side to side, where the 14" X 14" hole will be made.

Unless you install a drain pan with the Coleman, the water will run down the sides of the trailer.

To my knowledge, Coleman AC drain pans are no longer available.
