From my experience, 72 degrees is an unrealistic figure. After all this is an RV. A low of 78 is a dream but can be achieved. Using a fan helps. We have always been able to maintain 78 or 80 , which is comfortable with the use of a fan. Even 82 can be okay with a fan. Jim

Also a trailer is not a normal house, and one cannot expect it to cool or heat like one. Jim

Ducted Air

Been camping all week and played with the air. For the first time with some careful monitoring, I was able to run the AC on low without a freeze up; however I did have to make adjustments. I noted that the rear of the trailer got warmer as some have posted here- never had that running it on high. I redirected the air and it corrected that but what is nice is lower noise level. I am running the thermostat at just past halfway point[ATTACH]216113[/

I am going to rationalize here. After all this, it sounds like ducted air is a nice feature if you are in the market for a new trailer, but it is not compelling enough to sell an existing trailer just to buy a new one. We do not camp in the hot summer months simply because sitting outside, an integral part of the camping experience, is just uncomfortable. We do not want to hide in an air-conditioned aluminum tube. Our AC is to make sure it is cool enough for sleeping.

Unlike others, we run our a/c pretty much continually in the summer. 80 degrees would never work for us. We like the trailer cool. In winter freezing weather we set the furnace at 63. We run the front unit at 75 and low fan all night and the rear unit at 67 and it cycles on and off. I like the 2 unit ducted plan but what I have in my 12 keeps us comfortable and cozy year round.

I won't be getting a new trailer- ever- unless something drastic happens like a tree falling through my 2013...
Then I might still get a 2013 or 2014 Classic because I like the hickory wood. The 2015 with ducted air has less storage and cherry wood.

We like hot summer camping if we have access to swimming - just stay in water!!

And escape back to trailer for food - naps - and sleeping

I ordered my 2015 Classic this week. I was not a big fan of the cherry but after I saw the pictures I decided to go ahead and place the order. I should take delivery early-mid October. I debated and decided to take my chances waiting till I return from the Yukon in mid September to purchase a 2014, however, the one I was holding out for sold last week. So, I choose the 2015. I guess I can posts some of the pictures, however I don't think the factory has released the info yet. After studying the info they sent, I'm glad I waited for the redesign of the 2015. I rather like it. Click image for larger version

I thought so as well, I am purchasing from Foley same place you got yours. I have been reading all your post. Looks like Canopener is the major local event.
