Duct to nowhere

Does anyone know where the floor ducts go to in a 64 Safari?

I’m replacing the furnace. The furnace is located mid cabin, curb side, under kitchen sink. The floor plenum runs fore and aft. Front vent is at floor level next to catalytic heater just inside main door. Mid vent is right in front of clothes/broom closet, curb side. From there the rectangular ducting runs aft….but to where???

It does not come out in the rear “one stop service center” bay that I can find. Only guess left is under the tub/shower.

Has anyone had the entire flooring out of a 64 Safari? It has to run somewhere.

That duct is for the Black water tank (septic). It helps keep the tank from freezing in cold weather camping.

Thanks Tedd, That makes sense.

Does it have a vent cover at the end, or just empty out in the black water tank area?

I think it just empties into the tank, but there is a duct vent in the bath room.

I believe it dumps into the bellypan area next to the tank. I do not think it actually penetrates it .

That may be true. I know that in the 1967 Overlander, there is a hole the goes through the floor right on top of the black tank. The same duct also exits under the tub to heat the bathroom. I will dig through my photos to find a shot that shows what I'm taking about. It may take a little while as it is getting near my bed time.

under edit;
Found them, I hope I do not get in trouble for posting these. I was given a collection of photos from a friend from the forum to use as reference for my project.
One shows the duct removed, the other the floor with the hole that goes down to the black tank. The last one I hope you can see the duct inplace with the hole. Again, this is in 1967, so yours may be different.
