Dometic CCC forgot I have a furnace

Its cold tonight so I went to turn my furnace on. The dometic comfort control center doesn't think I have a furnace only cool and fan. Tried resetting by holding zone and mode buttons. Only says init. Does not reset or show any options. Any ideas?

Two separate devices? Another thermostat for thefurnace? I'm not much on heat since my trailer has none so I could be way off here.

Depending on which A/C unit you have, there are a set of DIP switches on the main control board of the A/C unit. These tell the thermostat if you have a furnace, how many zones you have, if it is a heat pump, etc.

This board is normally located under the shroud, beneath a 4" X 5" piece of galvanized sheet metal on the curb side of the unit.I would look at the DIP switches (a row of very small red and white slide switches) and move the furnace switch back and forth a couple of times, leaving it in the 'on' position.

Then go back to your CCC and re-set it again. If the board is still good, it will read the furnace. If not, you might need a new board, or a new CCC.

BTW, just in case your wondering, DIP stands for 'dual in-line package' and refers to the sliding action of these devices.

That's true, though I sometimes prefer the other meaning of "DIP"....
He can check his 12v fuses to make sure the furnace fuse is good, though that shouldn't cause the CCC to not think it has a furnace.
