Domestic thermostat issue

Woke up this morning and turned the furnace up from 65 to 70 to take the chill off. Furnace worked fine, however the thermostat does not read “FURN” as it did last night, but reads “A9UA” instead of “FURN”. Turned the system off then on, no change. Hit the battery disconnect switch then back on, still no change. I looked at the operating instructions and this does not look like an error code. Any ideas or experience with this?

Should read Dometic, not Domestic (spell check)

There is a procedure to reset the thermostat. Check your manual; you should have gotten a brochure for the thermostat.

Echoing Al's comment . . . check out these "Dometic stat hard reboot" search results for similar problems in many threads here:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Dome...=airforums.com

Crazy as it may sound, there is also the suggestion to make sure the date and time are more or less correct after you reboot the stat.

Good luck!

Thank you Gentlemen, there was no manual provided with my trailer but a Google search turned one up. Reset system and all is well.

No need to reset...same thing happened with ours. The manual says to press the up and down arrows at the same time ( while in furnace mode) to switch it back from 'aqua' to 'furn'.
The manual says the aqua is a hydronic heating mode, which we do not have.
