Condensate Drain Question

I have a 2016 30' FC with 2 AC/HP's. While both of my drain tubes appear to be operating (I get condensate dripping on the port side tires), I also sometimes get condensate dripping on the outside skin that runs down the exterior.

I have suctioned both drain tubes with a shop vac and I'm convinced they are clear. When I get on a ladder and look at the exterior of the AC's, I can see condensate dripping from either the drain cups (as if the tubes are blocked, which they aren't since water is also draining out the tubes) or more often, from the underside of the metal frame/pan.

These are the new Penguin II units that have the bottom pan set off the skin with the 2 white plastic catch cups. There is no water inside the trailer at all.

I figure one of 4 things may be happening:

1. There is some kind of debris in the bottom pan that is keeping the condensate from reaching the drain cups. The trailer was built in Oct, delivered to the dealer a week later and I picked it up a couple weeks after that. I'm seriously doubting I have bird nests or something that quickliy
2. The trailer is off-level (or the AC's are not parallel to the roof) and water is going over the side of the pan before reaching the drain cups. The trailer is level in both directions and the AC units do not appear to be crooked, so I tend to discount this option as well.
3. There is some small hole/leak in the bottom pan that water can escape from before being collected by the drain cup and sent to the tubes.
4. It has been pretty warm and humid here lately, and it may be possible that the condensate is cold enough to create secondary condensation on the metal tray/pan. The drain tubes get the primary and the secondary drips on the roof.

I tend to think it may be #4. Since the leak/overflow is all exterior, I'm not overly concerned (and I have an appointment in May at JC for a few other minor glitches anyway), but I'm really curious about this.

Anyone have a similar experience with the new AC units?

Keith, haven't had an issue with my dual AC's on my 2015 Classic. Had an issue with my 2014 FC 25. Turned out to be a hole in the drain line caused when the line was nicked while drilling interior rivets.

That version did not have the new ducted vents so was easy to trouble shoot. With the new style the only way I can think of would be to take the covers off of the AC units, lift them up and check the drain cups. As you said it may simply be humidity condensation if you have high humidity. Don't remember seeing any postings along those lines.

Our 2015 30' FC drains on to the port side tires all the time, never thought about it except to make sure it was draining. I have blown the lines out, never had it drain down the sides of the trailer.
