Coleman mach 3 freezing up?

I just installed a Coleman mach 3 on my trailer a few days ago. I am happy with it so far although it is a bit loud. Last night it was a bit cool so I decided to test out the low heat on it. It was comfortable and in the morning it got too warm so I switched it to low cool and went back to sleep. When I got up a few hours later the air conditioner was making a slogging sound and the air flow seemed very restricted. I turned off the unit and after about an hour I noticed a lot of condensate running down my trailer. I’m guessing something froze perhaps? I checked to make sure the weep holes were clear and turned the unit back on after a few hours. Everything is back to normal. My question is what happened? It wasn’t really warm outside but it was humid. Also, one of my roof vents was foolishly left open all night.
