Question Clog in Armstrong a/c coils

I am fighting off a new a/c for my 63 Globbtrotter. I have replaced the fan motor and now the compressor. Problem I have now is that that unit cools on one side and then the compressor cycles off. My a/c guy says there is probably a clog on the system. Anybody out there have experience with this problem?

Sobephil,

Do you know if the unit was purged with nitrogen after the repairs were completed? It sounds like some scale developed in the tubing after the soldering and a piece broke off and is blocking the tubing. It might come out if you have the unit evacuated, purged and then re-charged, but it is a long shot.
