Hi, I've never seen a worse set of instructions, can anyone help me, I only have two mounting bolts and it shows I should have 4, what are these mounted to if they fall within the 14 x 14 inch opening, I don't currently have my inner skins in so they are not available to mount to. Also how so you level it out in the back, why don't they have the gasket thicker in back than the front???? Oh I am so frustrated please help!!!

The mounting bolts (use 4 of the 6 provided) are used to sandwich the inner piece to the outer piece. The bolts go through the bottom piece (inner) and crew into the top (outer) piece. There are two different bolts (long and short) for the front two bolts. I used the shorter ones on my unit.

You must have the inner skins installed and framing between the inner and outer skins for this to work. Without the framing the skins will bend and the unit will not be secure.

Thanks for the info I found the packet with the other screws in it so that helps, I'll reexamine the instructions and with your data I may just be able to do it but will obviously wait until the skins are in. Any advice on leveling?

Once you tighten down on the bolts the gasket material will compress and it will be level. The unit has more weight in the rear, so it is just sitting that way for now. Mine was the same when it was just sitting on the roof and it is now level.
