Armstrong Maintenance Guide

I was digging through the owner information document package for my 76 last night and ran accross a Maintenance Guide for the Armsrong AC unit. Thought it may be of some use to others on the forum.

The interesting thing to me is that it refers to Field Charging and states that the unit has suction service port. I thought the Armstrongs were closed systems.

Something to investigate next Spring.

Armstrong was one of the few RV a/c units that do have cxharging ports. Most others are sealed, and if they lose their charge, would have to be retrofitted (if you can find somone to do it) or replaced.

thanks much. My compressor no longer kicks in. Hopefully something in the maintenance manual will help.
