Armstrong compressor needed

Trying to keep my Airstream original, does anyone now where a good compressor can be found.

If you do the work, then the price is not bad.

If you are going to have someone do it for you, the total cost may exceed that of a new AC.

Also, check the start and run capacitors and the start relay, before you invest in a compressor.

The only reason that I would consider replacing the compressor is that my son is an A/C tech and will do the work, The A/C worked well up to 2 months ago but lost the oil and freon out of the bottom of the compressor because a rust spot.
I will check with Grainger today.

Have a complete 73 ac that was working on a 20 ft ambassador - price cheap - get it out of my garage.-- Jim J i .e. you pay shippin - located in sw Virginia
