Armstrong Air Conditioner Shroud?

Am i not searching correctly? I can't find ANYTHING about air conditioners in the forums, and i've had enough RVs to know that the shrouds (covers) crack up, get torn off, discolor, and are generally short lived. I pulled the original (in pieces) off my 73 Sovereign' and am coverless now, but it's not very pretty. Does anyone know what will fit so that i might find a cheap replacement? Camco makes a supposed indestructable one i'm told, but not sure if it will fit.

Anyone know what fits the original 70's Armstrong A/C units?

thanks

I think Andy sells new shrouds for about $250 not including shipping. I have not heard of anyone else who sells them. That inspired me to fiberglass my old one back together. It wasn't purdy but it worked.

We cannot post prices, but I think we can correct one of our prices that someone misquoted.

The above quoted price is higher than we charge.

They are made with fiberglass, and are gel coated.

Apologies to Andy if I mispoke. I should have learned by now to keep my size 13s out of my mouth.

Click on search, advanced search, type in shroud and then click on Furnace, Heaters, Fireplaces and Air Conditioning. You will find lots of posts about the Armstrong shroud, how to repair them and where to buy new ones.

Ask questions if you get stuck. Good luck!
