Anyone have these AC items laying around

Wondering if anyone has replaced their Armstrong AC unit with new one and has kept the old Armstrong unit? I'm looking to either purchase or find out the model #'s on the start capacitor and relay that are mounted on the side of the unit. Having trouble locating these items, not being able to read the numbers or values on the worn out parts make it difficult. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

If you can get me the model number of the AC unit off the inner air diffuser, I may be able to get you the OEM numbers. I have a full set of manuals for the Armstrong AC on my MH. It is a 78.

A couple of thoughts.

1. You might try Griffin RV in OKC. He does a lot of Armstrong repairs. He has a website. http://www.griffithrvservice.com/

2. You may also want to go to this website for possible repair parts. http://www.tpc-nacg.com/techdocs.htm

There are some great resources in the threads in this forum.

Good Luck

I will be visiting my MH this weekend and will get the manuals at that time. PM me a mailing address and I will be happy to mail you a copy.

I'll be replacing the factory (and working well) A/C unit on my '77 Argosy 20' in the next 60-90 days with the new Carrier 15K BTU Low Profile AirV unit. Let me know if it's the same unit, and if you want any or all of it - I'm happy to sell it at a distress price!

Hummerdinger.

What model Armstrong do you have?

From that we can provide the part information for you.

Mike,

Call Ron at South Jersey RV, 856-697-9600. He will find you the parts at a very reasonable price, and he is very friendly.
