Any household thermostat will work fine. It's 110V. It's the furnace that needs a particular (12V) tstat.

The AC thermostat says "cooling" and has 4 wires for the different functions on an AC: fan only, low cool and high cool. Common household furnace thermostats have 2 wires. The thermostats for you furnace in your home are also 24v and are not 110 even though 110 runs the blower.
