Airstreams Pre-wired for AC

Have been looking for information on what year Airstream began pre-wiring for AC units? Does the model have anything to do with the year if so? Thanks in advance. Matt

If you e-mail Airstream with year and model, they will reply back with the location of the wiring. They did for me, at least.

Sorry about your pacer.

But, wiring can be added for an AC.

Where exactly is the city power breaker box?

A photo or 2 would also help.

Andy

I couldn't find any sign of wiring in my 68. I wired it myself and ran some conduit over to a cabinet.

Rodney.

The location of the wire in the ceiling is readily available.

If you look immediately next to or behind the city power breaker box, you will see the other end of that wire.

All Airstream trailers starting in 1964, had the AC wiring "built in".

The POs did all sorts of creative stuff to the Trade Wind, who knows what they did to the AC wiring. It definitely wasn't anywhere to be seen. In any case, the new one has new wiring which I feel better about anyway.
