Air Conditioning Leak

Good day everyone,

I have a 1996 25' Excella and I have encountered a water leak within my A/C. I took the cover off and have discovered a black hose. I tried to stick in a thin coxial cable through the hose but I cannot find the exit. I have also tried with an air compressor but still can't find the exit. If you have any suggestions to this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

On my '99 Safari, it comes out about a foot to the left of the gray water drain valve and hangs down about 6". Mine flows very freely when the a/c is on.

Thanks for responding...

The water should be flowing however it is not reaching the exit of the hose. I am not sure if I have to take out the refrigerator so I can access and view the drainage system.... Please, any information is good information. Thank You.....

May be a bug problem

Bugs love to plug up the drain hoses by building nests. On a prior SOB trailer, I solved the problem by slipping a plastic strainer meant for a paint spray gun over the end of the hose. I had to open up the hole in the strainer a bit so that it wouldn't pinch the hose shut. I never had a problem after that. The strainers cost only pennies and can be found at Sears, HD, and the like.

Another possibility

I forgot to mention that on my brand new International, they did a terrible job of caulking at the factory where the hose connects to the AC. The hose was not plugged (I checked with compressed air), but it leaked enough that a drop would fall every 10 seconds or so. Roughing up the plastic and recaulking with a better grade of caulk fixed the problem.

On the '03 Bambi, the hose ejects just in front of the driver's side wheel well.
