Hi Michael,

I have dropped the manual trans in my 56 Chevy in a ditch, in high school.

I knew a guy that rebuilt the straight 6 in an old International Harvester pickup by removing the hood, driving it out into tall hay, and pulling it over on its side with a tractor. It was just like it was on an engine stand. When done, pulled it back on its feet. No damage. A little thicker sheet metal back then.

I am making notes for the AC replacement I plan to do, too!

Vaughan
