air cond "pan"

I am soon to install my new Duo Therm Penguin on my 76 Argosy.
My question is, they have a "pan" for it but they have to order it and they do not know what it looks like.
The Penguin appears to have two drain's that I could easily fab a small fitting to."and route the hose properly and out of sight, thus elimanating the need for a $85.00 pan + shipping
#1. Are the pans curved ?
#2. do they install under the complete unit, or do they just catch the drain holes under the evaporator?
The evaporator has a plastic tray under it in in the unit. is this not where all the condensate comes from?

You bet! The penguin is the only way to go. The pan, from what I have gathered, is curved to match the roof lines and has provisions for the two condensate drains on the a/c. I am doing a factory style installation on my 72 tradewind. So far the tuff part is getting enough nerve to actually cut a hole in the skin! There is a lot of wiring up there and hacking the wires up could really put a damper in my day.
