Adding an AC Unit

I am purchasing a 73 Land Yacht that doesn't have an AC unit. I found in one of the Form's that all Airstreams after 64 are wired for an AC Unit. Question is: How do you locate where to cut the hole for the AC Unit and is there any structual work that has to be done. In short is all the bracing and internal structure already in the unit or is there some serious work to be done to install the AC unit?
