AC water running off top of Airstream.

We just bought our Airstream two days ago. We are running ac while we work in it. I just noticed water running from ac down roadside side of trailer.

I told my husband I think we have a drain tube stopped up. He says it is probably suppose to do this. I don't think so. What do we do. Or where is drain tube?

Thanks for help,

Alice Crane

If you have a Coleman or Dometic Penguin, you may have a drain pan mounted between the roof and AC, this is visable from the top as it shows a small 1 1/2" high lip around the bottom edge of the AC. Pull the inside assembly down and locate the black plastic drain tube attached to the pan, lossen it and try to blow some LOW pressure air through it, if this works try to blow a small string through it and attach a small piece of cloth to the string and pull through from the outside...should come out around the front or back of the roadside wheelwell, cleaning as you pull.
