AC Unit dripping condensate

Anyone know what would be causing my AC unit to drip excessively with condensate?

What's excessive and where? I'm seriously asking. We had the chance to try out our AC this weekend for the first time. Noticed a "big" wet spot under where the kitchen is and thought there must be a leak in the plumbing. Then I saw there was some sealant under the trailer where the puddle originated and after turning off the AC realized that's what was causing the "leak". Car AC can do the same sort of thing.

Just like that glass of iced tea that gets all wet on the outside of the glass. Enough relative humidity and the same thing happens to your AC, until the interior humidity is reduced you'll have some condensation on anything cooler than the surronuding air. Try setting your themostat higher initially and stepping it down gradually. Tough to do as good as all that cold air feels.

When we first bought our A/S, 2006 Safari, we had a leak from the A/C after the first heavy rain. The A/C had never even been turned on. Turns out there was a small crack in the condensation pan, which is located in the A/C toward the right front corner (if you were standing in the front of the trailer looking to the rear). Anyway, dealer replaced the pan and the fittings, and now she works fine both when turned on and in rainy weather.
