AC replacement

I am looking in to replacing the old Armstrong AC in my 1976 A/S. The two possible replacement units I am thinking about are the Dometic Penquin with the drip pan in the 15,000 BTU unit if available and the Carrier 15,000 BTU unit. From what I have read although the Carrier does not have a drip pan it producess less condensation to drip down the side.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with either of thes AC units. Any thoughts and comments would be helpful

I replaced the A/C on my '71 with a Penquin and drain pan.

Was not too difficult and it works well.

You can see some pics at my website.
