AC Question

I have a Coleman Mach 3 on top of my newly purchased 69 Sovereign. I believe it was installed back in 84. When I turn it on it runs but I feel no blowing. Is there an easy fix or repair or would it be recommended I purchase a new unit? What,s the overall experience you guys have had a A/C not working?

Thanks

Remove the cover in side and check your blower. I had the screw holding the blower to the motor shaft loosen on my old AC and it was just spinning on the shaft. Just a thought.

I have replace the blower motor a couple of times in the Coleman on my Trade Wind. Not difficult, and it still works. You could check and see if your motor has a places to oil it and try that.

If the trailer sat for a time the blower shaft may be stuck. Not sure you can get to it from inside but take a look. If you can try and spin the blower. If it spins freely the motor may be shot or just not getting power. To check power you will have to get to the motor wiring and test for voltage while the AC is on. Keep in mind that is a multi speed motor so there will be at least 4 wires going to it.
